Key development stages and achievements
2002
The beginning of operations
The NGR EF group consists of two entities – EF Polska and NGR Technologie.
The first of them, EF Polska, originates from the Polish-German company Effertz Polska, founded in 2002, which was a distributor of fire doors, in which Norbert Gańczarek-Rał was a minority partner.
2006
The beginning of NGR Technologies.
In parallel, in 2006, NGR Technologie was established as a company that developed new designs of fire doors and curtains.
The company’s experts developed and introduced to the market their proprietary N series sliding fire door. The product achieved sales success in Europe.
Also in 2006, NGR Technologie patented and launched the world’s first flexible rolling door in the EI 120 class. For many years, there were no competing alternative solutions on the market.
2010
EF Polska as a company with 100% Polish capital
In 2010, NGR Technologie acquired all shares in Effertz Polska, which became a company with 100% Polish capital under the new name EF Polska.
Since then, dynamic expansion into foreign markets began. Scandinavia, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, Romania, Croatia, and Qatar are the markets where both companies have successfully built a sales network over the years.
2019
License exchange with the Spanish Grupo Mecosa.
In 2019, after exchanging licenses with the Spanish Grupo Mecosa, the company significantly expanded its offering of fire-resistant sliding gates.
2021
Start of the Italian company EF Italia
To optimize deliveries in terms of distance from the customer, NGR Technologie has launched production plants in Spain and opened a logistics center in Italy.
In 2021, EF Italia was established.
2022
The capital merger of NGR Technologie and Grupo Mecosa
In June 2022, the companies merged capital-wise, which currently gives the group a market share of over 10% in Europe.
